The Hydroswing® detailed spec sheet is here! For our customers, seeing is believing and knowledge is power… and we know hydraulic doors. Our hydraulic door spec sheets are designed to summarize the technical characteristics and performance of the Hydroswing hydraulic door system.
The Hydroswing technical specification document provides clearly defined detail to be used by a design engineers, architects, builders, contractors, or any door owner (or potential door owner) to understand all the components of the Hydroswing hydraulic door system. Hydraulics are the foundation of the future. The simplicity of liquid fluid power moving heavy objects is a solution that fits into all sectors of building and manufacturing. Hydroswing is the original and still the best hydraulic door on the market and we have a profound understanding of what it takes to create an extraordinary product.
Our specs include:
• Product overview
• Product features
• Steel frame schematic
• Standard and basic attachment details
• Wiring and circuit diagram
• Electrical systems options
• Hydraulic circuit diagram
• Hydraulic cylinder schematic
• Available options (which include, a CCTV camera to monitor outside of the door prior to opening, an audible warning alarm to operate while the door is in motion, a visual (flashing light) warning signal to operate while the door is in motion, motion detectors on the sides of door to stop door if activated by personnel or a vehicle, hand pump for manual operation, cane bolts to lock the door to the floor on the inside, personnel door within the main door, and more.)
A fundamental feature of any hydraulic system is the ability to apply force or torque multiplication in an easy way, independent of the distance between the input and output, without the need for mechanical gears or levers. This concept, used in large machinery worldwide for decades, is demonstrated in detail in our specs, and is at the core of the Hydroswing hydraulic door system.
Simplicity, safety, strength, ease of use and reduction in moving parts, plus use of cladding (which makes the door match the thermal characteristics of the building) make Hydroswing® the hydraulic door system of choice. The sophistication of single panel hydraulic door system is now part of everyday door use for facilities large and small across the U.S. and around the world.

Remember, if it doesn’t come from Hydroswing®… It’s not a Hydroswing®
ISO containers (also known as intermodal containers) are used to store and move materials and products efficiently and securely in the global containerized intermodal freight transport system. "Intermodal" indicates that the container can be moved from one mode of transport to another (from ship, to rail, to truck) without unloading and reloading the contents of the container. Lengths of containers vary from 8 to 56 feet (2.438 to 17.069 m) and heights from 8 feet (2.438 m) to 9 feet 6 inches (2.896 m). There are about 17 million intermodal containers in the world of varying types to suit different cargoes.
In recent years, ISO containers have started being used for countless applications outside of the shipping world. From architectural and commercial projects to mining and military facilities, a container that has “open sides” can make for endless usage possibilities. The fact that the Hydroswing® hydraulic door is pre hung in its very own load bearing frame, allowed the evolution and growing use of ISO shipping containers. Meet the ISO DOOR™ by Hydroswing®. The Patent Pending system is built around our renowned single panel Hydroswing® hydraulic door. Sized accordingly, a hydraulic door can be fitted to the ISO shipping container on either of the sides, ends or top and can also be used for "cross-dooring" between containers for shelter buildings.
The plug-and -play ISO DOOR™ simply locks on to side, ends (or links between sides or ends) of the ISO shipping container, utilizing the ISO tandemlok quick attach. This is the “missing link” for container shelter doors for mining and military operations as well as many other industries. It also allows instant re-purposing of the old shipping container. With the same single panel strength the Hydroswing® Door offers, the ISO DOOR™ made a quantum leap into ISO containers.
The use of the ISO DOOR™ for UAV shelters, helicopter shelters, forward operating bases, checkpoints, encampments, military compounds, service areas, engine run up bays, MT service areas and many other modular ISO container shelter uses, can finally bring “closure" to the "open end" of the container shelter. Aviation facilities can quickly create shared wall, multi unit hangars at an affordable price.
Other industries interested in this unique door system are disaster relief, mining and exploration, specialized shelter manufacturers, special forces, oil tanker/vessel protection services and most obviously, shipping companies for ease of loading/unloading product into containers. The ISO DOOR™ system is undergoing review for full ISO certification so as to be able to enter the ISO shipping process and enable integration for containers fitted or modified to be shipped simply as a normal container… this is a logistical planners dream.
